To one of the dog walkers that uses North Ford Road. I’ll give you five out of 10 for figuring out you should bag your doggy’s do. For a bonus five you’ll need to make a mental leap and realise you should take these away with you until you find a suitable receptacle.

Please stop leaving your little black bags in the middle of the road or lobbing them into gardens. Also, leaving them under the wheels of parked cars simply results in a mess – it’s not clever and you aren’t hiding anything.

I’ve even seen you drop one tantalisingly close to the front-door bucket the pet shop owner uses for her dog bags. So close… and yet so far.

For a while I thought it was my civic duty to pick up your bags – I felt guilty walking past them and leaving them to someone else. I’ve also seen a neighbour do the same.

However, I’ve come to the conclusion that it was facilitating your poor behaviour. Perhaps you think the magic fairies are tidying up after you?

Come on, be one of the good guys.
