What sort of person can think it is right to ticket a fully signwritten first responder’s car? The car can not be mistaken for anything else.
What sort of person at Devon County Council could send out the ticket?
I ask these questions because I have seen Tim Hore in action, first hand . He is a professional of the first order. His need to park the first responders car within easy reach of his work place should outweigh any other consideration.
Tim provides a service to our community that should be recognised by Devon County Council, South Hams District Council and Salcombe Town Council.
Salcombe Town Council could make this problem go away tomorrow if it so pleased. It could allow Tim to park the first responder’s car in the council parking bay behind the ice cream shop .
I am well aware they have refused other local organisations and charity’s the use of these spaces in the recent past.
I am sure if the town council asked the residents if they minded Tim parking there the answer would be a resounding ‘no we don’t mind’.
Please, Salcombe Town Council, step up and offer Tim the parking space he so desperately needs.
After all you are supposed to serve and support our local community – something Tim does in spades and has the tickets to prove it.
