A woman accused of causing serious injury to a motorcyclist by driving without due care and attention appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 1.
Michelle Rowe, 60, of Church Park Road in Woolwell, is charged with two offences arising from an incident on August 16 outside Bickleigh Down Church of England Primary School.
Ms Rowe was alleged to be driving a Vauxhall car on Woolwell Road carelessly or inconsiderately when it collided with a motorcyclist, causing serious injury.
She is also charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Ms Rowe was remanded on unconditional bail and has been disqualified from driving on an interim basis under Section 26 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
Her next hearing is scheduled at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on October 16.
