A WOMAN has been charged with three breaches of enforcement notices relating to buildings, caravans and units on her farmland.

Jennifer Burner, 58, of Riverside Farm, New Mill Lane, Loddiswell, appeared before Torquay magistrates.

She was committed for trial at Plymouth Crown Court.

The offences were brought to court by South Hams Council.

The first charge alleges that she failed to comply with an enfor-cement notice, dated March 28, 2007, requiring her to demolish an unauthorised building at Riverside Farm; remove all materials, fixtures and fittings; and return the land to a tidy condition.

The breach of the second enforcement notice, dated October 9, 2008, alleges that she failed to stop the residential use of land at the farm and did not remove the mobile homes, portable buildings and cages relating to residential use and a florist business.

The third charge alleges she failed to comply with an enfor-cement notice, served on August 4, 1997, that required her to cease all non-agricultural use of the land and that she failed to remove all the caravans and units by August 20, 1998.
