David Whittingham, of Luckhams Lane, Malborough, writes: The recent article referring to the development at Alston Gate was misleading. There is reference to 'broadly traditionat design'. Where? Certainly not in the immediate area. The second point is that there is comment about 'no letters of objections or support to date'. This may be true but most of the residents in the area feel that after the last decision went against the wishes of the village, it is not worth the effort to object. It is felt that it is a done deal this time.
