RACE organisers have made several suggestions about some of the best places to see the action.

Among them are the start at Barnstaple, the hill climbs on Dartmoor, the sprints at Great Torrington, Kingsbridge and Slapton Ley, plus the finish at Dartmouth. The estimated times are based on riders averaging 42km per hour.

Barnstaple: 10.15am

Great Torrington: 10.55am

Merrivale, Dartmoor: 12.38pm

Coffin Stone, Dartmoor: 12.57pm

Kingsbridge: 1.58pm

Slapton Ley: 2.12pm

Dartmouth: 2.33pm

Other suggestions include parking up at watching the race at Dartmeet (grid ref SX 672 732), Ashburton (grid ref SX 754 699) and Buckfastleigh (grid ref SX 738 659). Organisers say drivers should park responsibly, using designated car parks and lay-bys.
