Interesting that more than 300 people completed the Dartmouth Cottage Hospital Independently Promoted Survey. Out of a population of 5,000-plus, I wouldn’t say this is an endorsement. Rather that the majority, including myself, could not bring themselves to complete it.

I was under the impression that no decision had yet been made on the proposed closure of our hospital – we await the new year for that. The chips ­survey took it as a ‘done deal’ and was therefore totally biased.
