This week we lead on a story about a proposed dog festival, called Woofstock, to take place on Dartmouth’s Coronation Park which has met with some opposition from town councillors.
Our picture story shows a defibrillator being presented to Coastwatch volunteers at Froward Point, for use in the event of coast path walkers needing help.
We plug inside to a story about the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta losing out in the tendering process to run the annual fairground on the Mayor’s Avenue car park.
Plus, there is also opposition from town councillors to a plan by hotelier Nigel Way and his wife Anne’s plan to redevelop a former rugby club.
As ever, there’s much, much more inside
