A much-anticipated children’s theatrical group’s 17th annual performance is coming up.

The Malborough Amateur Dramatics Kids Group is performing their rendition of Bugsy Malone from August 8-11 with a matinee on the Saturday.

The group is growing in popularity, with 71 children initially interested in being part of the show, and because of this, MAD has added an extra night’s performance to their roster.

Evening shows are set to begin at 7.30pm from the Wednesday to the Friday, and the matinee show will start at 2pm on the Saturday.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for kids on Wednesday-Friday; and £8 for adults and £4 for kids on Saturday.

The MAD group draws members form Malborough, Kingsbridge and the surrounding local area. MAD group has put on a pantomime in the village hall every January since 1979.

The MAD kids group was formed in 2002 so that local youngsters aged eight to 18 could present a show every summer.
