Hundreds of people paid their respects at a Remembrance Day service and two minutes’ silence held in bright sunshine in Kingsbridge this morning.

A parade from the quay to the war memorial on the embankment included veterans and current members of the armed services, members of the town’s Royal British Legion branch, youth groups, town council representatives and other organisations.
