PETER GORNALL, of Furzey Close, Thurlestone, writes:
In your comprehensive Remembrance Day prospectus for the South Hams, pages 28 and 29, I am only one of many named as those by whom services would be 'lead'.
I take it that you did not mean that the services will be very heavy stuff, and even possibly, looking at the dictionary definition of 'lead', toxic.
I dare say you intended that the services would be led, and I am glad to say that, in South Milton and Thurlestone at least, that is what happened.
Oh, the dangers of a spell-checker!
