South Hams District Council are reminding people of the changes to bin collections over the festive period.
For weeks beginning December 25 and January 1, collections will run two days late, and for the week beginning January 8, they will run one day late.
If your normal collection date is Monday, December 25, your collection will happen on December 27.

On the week beginning January 8, collections will run one day late, and SHDC is asking people to make sure that recycling and refuse is left out by 7am in the morning. Collections return to normal on January 15.
They also say that they can only accept wrapping paper in the blue sack if they don’t have glitter on them, and they can’t take foil wrapping paper in recycling.
Christmas trees up to seven feet long can be put in the brown bin for collections, and remember to put food in the brown bin or food caddy.
