An award winning Radio 2 presenter is in Dartmouth today.
Simon Mayo, one of Britain’s best-loved radio presenters, has worked on the BBC radio since 1982 and now presents Drivetime on BBC Radio 2.
Among his success, in 2008 he won Radio Broadcaster of the Year at the Broadcasting Press Guild awards and is the author of several books for children and adults.
Today, he will be launching his new adult novel ‘Mad Blood Stirring’ based at Dartmoor prison on the eve of the year 1815.
The launch was at the Flavel Church today from 12.30, organised by the Dartmouth bookseller.
