The Kingsbridge in Bloom volunteers are out and about, come rain or shine, keeping our town looking lovely. We are grateful for all the support we receive with donations and appreciative remarks.

Our first working party of the new year was marred yet again by encountering the dreaded dog poo on the beds we tend so lovingly.

This is a plea to all dog ­owners to keep dogs on leads, off the beds and to pick up after their pets. We really don’t want dog poo smeared over our tools, our shoes, our gloves and our hands.

Some of us are dog owners ourselves and we know that most people behave responsibly. If you spot the culprits, please remind them.
