Paul Allen, of Fairview Road, Dartmouth, writes: We read reports that South Hams Council is in a state of indecision concerning funding for the Dartmouth Indoor Pool. Trustees and others that have worked unswervingly towards the goal of this well researchedproject, need and deserve our full and open support, which I certainly offer.  Work undertaken by officers at district council is only one small element of the scenario, there's is not the final decision. Dartmouth residents, supported by town councillors, have given their full backing to this project. There is no room for sitting on the fence and ignoring the situation, it will not be allowed to go away. Emphasis and renewal of commitment from all our representatives at district level, both individually and collectively, has an ability to influence any decision and thus contribute to a positive outcome for Dartmouth. Let's all write, ring or whatever, direct to district council and seek reassurances from our representatives of their active support for a positive result.
