With more than 100 acts performing at over 15 venues, this weekend promises to be one of the biggest events in the town’s calendar.

Taking place this weekend from May 11, 12 and 13, the Dartmouth music festival is bringing headline act Dodgy, a stalwart of the 1990s Britpop era, to the town. The group’s biggest hit, Good Enough, is officially one of the most played tracks on British radio over the past 20 years.

Additionally, there will be a very special performance from Charles Hazlewood and his All Star Collective. Charles recently appeared in a BBC Four documentary in which he explored the four great American minimalist composers who rebooted classical music in the 20th century.

However, the festival couldn’t go ahead without the dedication and hard work of the 20-strong Festival Committee along with other volunteers who give up their time over the weekend and across the year.

To find out what’s going on across the weekend you can buy a hard copy of the programme from a variety of outlets in Dartmouth, Kingswear and Stoke Fleming for £5.

This year, you can also get a personalised programme via the Dart Music Festival website or you can download a PDF version of the whole programme for £5.
