South Hams MP Sarah Wollaston has announced that she is quitting the recently formed Change UK party. Writing on social media, Sarah Wollaston and five of her party colleagues announced their departure in a joint statement.

The move comes following the party’s disappointing performance in the European elections, and leaves Change UK with five remaining MP’s.

It has been widely reported that some of the MP’s may make the move to the newly revitalised Liberal Democrats.
