Ivybridge neighbourhood area has voted a resounding yes to South Hams District Council using the Neighbourhood Plan for Ivybridge to help it decide future planning applications in the neighbourhood area.

The vote which took place on Thursday, November 30, for residents of Ivybridge neighbourhood area saw 1,303 people, out of an electorate of 8,955, voting to decide the future of the Plan.

85% people voted yes at 1106 votes. 15% equalling 197 votes, opted for a no.
