Kate Peeters, of Combe, near Aveton Gifford, writes: I refer to James Heaven's hotheaded response to Messrs Klee and Howard, Letters, August 15. Not unlike the noisy herring gull, waterskiers, wake-boarders and jet-skiers are an unpopular section of boating society. They're a headache for residents and/or visitors living or holidaying nearby. Salcombe Harbour Office, I'll wager, will almost certainly regret the day they even considered granting permission for these noisy, and selfish users of the harbour. Please don't let this happen.
