The plans include details of the redevelopment of Noss and include an application for site clearance and enlargement of the existing woodland car park and the creation of a new woodland car park to the north of the access road, accommodating 147 car parking spaces.
The plans are on display at the marina and are available on-line at South Hams District Council Planning site. They show what has already been made public: 70 summer boat storage spaces, extending to 100 in the winter; 21 commercial units; a new home for South Devon College; a new 75 tonne boat hoist; new dock facility for lifting/launching boats; and a hotel with 50 rooms, two restaurants and a spa.
The work on the marina, hotel, boatyard etc. will start first and is expected to take 3 years with residential development following.
Display boards showing the masterplan and details of the proposal are available to view at the Noss-on-Dart Marina during normal opening hours. Comments are required by August 4th, 2017 for a target determination date of October 4th, 2017.
