Overnight on Friday, September 28, the temporary concrete barriers on Tavistock Road (just north of the roundabout) will be replaced with mass barriers.

During this work, northbound traffic will be managed with a short diversion on to Woolwell Road and Woolwell Crescent before rejoining Tavistock Road at the new traffic light junction.

Once the barriers have been replaced, traffic will then be able to travel northbound, without using Woolwell roundabout.

Traffic still wishing to access Woolwell or other businesses in the area, will continue to use the roundabout until the next traffic management switch, in a few months.

They will provide more information about any changes closer to the time.

Whilst they have a team working overnight, they will also take the opportunity to carry out a surface repair on Woolwell Crescent, when it will not be possible to access Tavistock Road from Woolwell Crescent.

Traffic will be diverted to Woolwell roundabout to continue their journey on to Tavistock Road.

At the same time, southbound traffic on Tavistock Road will be reduced to one lane from Roborough village to Woolwell roundabout.

All the overnight work is expected to be completed before 6am on Saturday, August 29.
