Old Dartmothians held a ceremony following their restoration of the shelter on Coronation Park.
60 members and guests enjoyed drinks on Nigel Way of the Royal Castle Hotel and unveiled a plaque. The President of the Old Dartmothians, Barrie French, said, “The shelter was originally built for our forefathers back in 1951. After over 65 years it was looking a bit neglected, so we decided to give it a spruce up.”
“The job turned out to be a bit more than we expected because found that the main structure was totally rotten”
“We would like to thank Wayne Elliot of Rendle & Elliot Carpenters and John Mitchelmore of Dartmouth Midi Skips for their help”.
