Grahame Powell, of Dodbrooke Court, Kingsbridge, writes: I was admiring the pontoon today and I must say it looks very smart and will be a great new addition to the town, however while talking to a visitor he was saying that there are signs on this saying crabbing is prohibited which seems a great shame. I would be interested to hear why the Salcombe Harbour Authority decided that children and parents etc are banned from sitting on the edge while enjoying this popular activity?
