I recently had an accident and was taken to the minor injuries unit at South Hams Hospital.
I was attended to by a nurse called Nicky and a healthcare assistant by the name of Tina. They were both extremely kind, caring and attentive. The treatment I received was thorough to say the least, resulting in a trip to Derriford for further investigation. I was seen at Derriford as soon as I arrived by a competent surgeon, who confirmed that my injury was not as serious as first thought.
In light of the current and immense strain on the NHS and its staffing, I cannot speak highly enough of these three healthcare professionals and the NHS. Thank you.
