Regarding your article about the ludicrous plan for the Mermaid Pool, Burgh Island, I find it impossible to believe that anyone could have conceived it, designed it and least of all approved it. I have therefore come to the conclusion that it is either an early April Fool prank, fake news – or have we entered a bizarre parallel universe where nothing any longer makes sense?
