THE sun shone as the community enjoyed live music, bouncy castles and great food at this year's Lion's Club of Ivybridge fun day. Members of the public flocked to the rugby club last Saturday to celebrate the event's 12th year. After a cloudy start to the day, finally the sun broke through and gave everyone an enjoyable time. The Plymouth Morris Men started off the proceedings on stage, while children and families enjoyed the bouncy castles, swing boats and games all on offer. There were also about 50 stalls selling food, arts and crafts as well as local charities and councils giving advice. For the full story see this week's Ivybridge and South Brent Gazette
