Ladies drank unlimited prosecco and bid on fantastic local prizes for charity.
Shannon Foot organised an all-you-can-drink bubbly party at the Seven Stars to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
On Saturday, July 14, 18 women enjoyed a sunny day filled with afternoon tea-styled food, an auction and raffle prizes, and of course, all the prosecco that one’s heart could desire.
All kindly donated by local businesses, prizes included books, model cars, a bottle of Salcombe Gin, bottles of wine, a Clinic No 5 ‘glam package’, a meal at the Boat House for two, a half hour horseback riding lesson, flowers and much more.
Together the women raised £1,031 for Cancer Research UK, but more specifically breast cancer research.
Shannon said: “Breast cancer research is very close to my heart, and what better charity for a group of women to support.”
Shannon has also been involved in other charity work, organising a quiz night and raised £307 for the Kingsbridge First Rainbows.
