Anthony and Patricia Greenwood, of Seaflowers, Frogmore, write: We write in support of John and Lynda Horsely of the Globe Inn, Frogmore. We feel they have been treated harshly by the courts and the press. We often patronise the Globe; we run a busy B&B across the road and most of our guests will eat there at least once during their stay with us. Our guests always tell us how good the food is and how nice John and Lynda are, going to great lengths to ensure they receive good service and delicious meals. We ran pubs and restaurants ourselves for many years and know how hard the business can be. Everyone has the occasional slip-up and we are confident that standards of hygiene are now excellent there, as testified by their five-star rating from the environmental health officer. We shall continue to recommend them, eat there ourselves and urge others to support them. The Globe is a well-run pub and both John and Lynda work incredibly hard. They are always supportive of the ­community and do not deserve this misfortune.
