Kingsbridge Kingfishers have yet again succeeded in having swimmers selected to compete for Devon at the national inter-county championships in Sheffield next month.
Three swimmers have been successful this year. Thirteen-year-old Emma Noyce will yet again swim for the county, having made her debut last year. Fourteen-year-old Louis Gautier has also been selected to swim for the second time.
Finally, Laker Wong will swim for his third successive year at this event. Furthermore, following his national success, Laker has been selected to train in the England Talent Development Squad, which incorporates three training camps during the year.
Only 20 swimmers in the South West region are selected to train in this youth squad.
The first training camp took place from September 16-18 at Crystal Palace.
The next is to be held in January at Millfield and the final camp is in April and will take place in Portsmouth.
