I don’t expect Gordon Waterhouse, Nature Diary, September 1, supplied the headline which included the phrase “Migrant moths from Europe...’. Whoever did should be reminded that Britain and Jersey are themselves part of Europe!
I would suggest the wording should have been “from the continent “, or “from across the Channel”.
Incidentally, you caught me out with the sudden increase in price of the paper – I had taken only 50p to my newsagent.
I didn’t see any notice – or explanation – in the previous week’s edition.
