A YOUNG Ivybridge Community College pupil has been reprimanded by police after a photo emerged of him climbing a train bridge. Images show the youngster climbing the bridge at Ivybridge railway station and then hanging over the track by his hands. A spokeswoman from Ivybridge Police said: 'We have identified him and he has been spoken to and given words of advice. 'He was the only child climbing the bridge and he said it was a bit of a prank. We have had no reports of other incidents. 'We identified him from his school uniform with help from Ivybridge Community College.' Ivybridge police, who shared the photo on their Facebook page on Tuesday, said: 'A while ago I mentioned that some young people were caught doing something very silly and potentially dangerous. 'This photo shows what this was... hanging off the train bridge at Ivybridge Station. 'Whether a one-off prank or new craze this is not something anyone should be doing.' Left, the Ivybridge student hangs off the railway bridge.
