Ivy Graham, of Linhey Close, Kingsbridge, writes:
Thank you to all the people – complete strangers – who helped my husband and I.
After we had finished our shopping at Tesco on the Friday morning before last, we were unable to get into our car as the remote control would not work.
A very kind lady drove my husband home to get our second key, which unfortunately did not work either.
We then went back into Tesco to call a taxi: a community assistant was in there raising money for charity, and when told about our predicament she decided she would drive us home with our shopping. Her friend also came along and they both carried our shopping indoors for us.
The Ford garage then came to our aid and brought the car home for us.
I hope all these good people will realise what Good Samaritans they are. We cannot thank them enough.
