Protest to save community hospital and NHS services by hanging out the dirty linen of NHS bosses.
The Women of Dartmouth and District group is organising the protest to air out Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust’s and the Clinical Commissioning Group’s dirty linen.
On Monday, October 15, the protest will take place at the former cottage hospital site in Dartmouth from 12pm to 6pm.
Women of Dartmouth and District said: “As the NHS Trust’s and CCG’s plough on with their dismantling, destruction and depriving of our NHS services and offer no reasonable solution to the dangerous situation, we face this winter here in Dartmouth and the surrounding areas.
“We need to keep up the pressure and send the message to this government and our local decision makers.”
The group is inviting everyone to join them next Monday and hope to gather enough people to form a ring around the hospital as a symbol of protection and defiance.
“Please join us and help to save our hospital and have our NHS services reinstated” said the group.
