A campaign group is organising an event to raise money and awareness about the lost health services in the town.

Heart of the Dart, previously known as Women of Dartmouth and District, is running an event next week to protest the changes to health services in Dartmouth and the surrounding area.

On Monday, April 1, the group will be congregating in Royal Avenue Gardens from 10am to 4pm.

The group said: “Come along and find out what we plan to do to ensure we refurbish, reopen and reinstate our NHS services.

“Please join us and help raise money for our hospital fighting fund.”

Heart of the Dart said the event is being held to protest “foolish and dangerous” changes to health services in Dartmouth and the surrounding area.

Graham Evans, chair of the campaign group has confirmed volunteers from Save Our Hospital Services will also be in attendance.

The tea booth in the gardens will be open and serving refreshments from 10am to raise money for the campaign.

Group attendees will also be handing forms out to members of the public to give them the opportunity to have their say on health services in the town.
