It’s a done deed,

The Brexiteers have won

Teeth-gnashing narrow margin,

Oh, what have you done?

Our tiny little island,

(and Scotland will soon be off)

Standing alone to face the world,

Governed by some toff!

No more EU funding

That’s gone down the drain,

No more studying abroad

For our bright young brains.

No more global influence,

Who will take notice of us?

Especially after seeing

The lies on the side of the bus!

However, we are a democracy,

So Britain will draw up the drawbridge,

But what of the 28 per cent,

Who didn’t use their vote?
