The concern, help and ­kindness I received as the result of a pavement accident was truly amazing.

Help came from all around instantly. An ice bag was searched for and produced within minutes, and this was ­followed by a luxury new ­armchair, providing the best support and comfort. Telephone ­messages to my home ensured a safe conclusion.

This alarming and painful experience soon became an experience of such unlimited kindness. These caring strangers gave me such ­invaluable support, and I hope my message of a big thank you finds you.
