She is set to depart on Saturday, June 10th at around 9 o’clock in the morning.

The ship will berthed at the town jetty and will be open to visitors on Thursday, June 8th and Friday, June 9th, from 10am to noon and from 2pm to 5pm.

L’Etoile last visited in Dartmouth in November, 2016 for Remembrance Sunday commemorations.

Her design is based on schooners that were used for cod fishing in the North Atlantic near Iceland at the turn of the 20th century. She is a naval training ship.
