Fore Street in Kingsbridge will be closed for six days for sewage and road resurfacing.

Sewer repairs will be carried out by South West Water, closing Fore Street completely between Saturday, November 10, and Tuesday, November 13.

Resurfacing works will then be carried out by Devon Highways between Tuesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 15, closing the top of Fore Street and the junction with Plymouth Road between the hours of 7pm and 7am.

The sewer works, 10-13, will close the whole of Fore Street, with the diversion being given as Duncombe Street - Waterloo Road - Church Street - Bridge Street - Prince of Wales Road - Ilbert Road - Cookworthy Road - Plymouth Road.

The resurfacing works, 13-15, will close just the top of Fore Street around the junction of Plymouth Road and Stentiford Hill. There will be two diversions in place, Diversion One: anticlockwise: Cookworthy Road - Ilbert Road - Fore Street; and clockwise: Fore Street - Duncombe Street - Waterloo Road - Church Street - Bridge Street - Prince of Wales Road - Ilbert Road - Cookworthy Road - before joining Diversion Two.

Diversion Two: Plymouth Road - A379 - A381 - Sorley Green Cross - Coombe Cross - and visa versa.
