The restarted Chamber already has more attendees than Brixham which has a population three times the size of Dartmouth. At a recent Dartmouth Chamber of Trade meeting, Chairman Dave Cawley appealed for all Dartmouth businesses to fill out its 2017 survey on its website: www.dartmouthchamberoftrade.co.uk

The Chamber is a statutory body, recognised by Dartmouth Town Council, South Hams District Council, Devon County Council, MP Dr Sarah Wollaston, The British Chambers of Commerce and many others. It requires up-to-date information on all Dartmouth businesses, without which they cannot help these authorities.

The Chamber’s 2017 survey was sent to over 400 active Dartmouth businesses and so far only 16 have responded. This compares for instance, to the Costa Coffee debate which saw 124 people complete a survey.

The Chamber desperately needs a Membership Secretary and a Treasurer. If you wish to help, contact details can be found on the Chamber’s website
