The drains of Dartmouth were overwhelmed today, Wednesday August 30th, as a heavy downpour soaked the town.

Drains in the lower town were quickly overwhelmed and those, on what way the course of a small inlet to the Dart, notably Victoria Road, had water erupting from them.
