Sally Hurst, of The Old Bag Company, South Hams Business Park, Churchstow, Kingsbridge, writes: I just wanted to say a big thank you to all those who have helped us at The Old Bag Company since the fire last week, which not only destroyed the building our business ­operated from, but five other businesses too. People have been incredibly generous and we have had all sorts of offers and donations, from a kettle to an office. Unless it has happened to you it is difficult to comprehend the devastation such an event causes, but thankfully nobody was hurt and buildings can be rebuilt. Nevertheless, the people and businesses of the South Hams have been fantastic, helpful, kind and generous – all at once. We are hugely grateful and just wanted to say: 'Thank you so much.'
