FATHER Christmas will be coming to Salcombe and Malborough, and a day later, there will be carols around the Whitestrand tree.
Father Christmas starts his rounds at Alston Gate at 5pm on Tuesday, December 20, moving on to Malborough Green and Great Park at 5.30pm, Jubilee Road at 6pm, Malborough park at 6.15pm and then Cumber Close at 6.25.
He will arrive in Salcombe, on Bonfire Hill at 7pm, moving to Beadon Road, St Dunstans and Camperdown Road at 7.30pm, before arriving at the Rugby Club at 8pm and finishing off at 9pm in Salcombe High Street, visiting the Fortescue the Kings Arms and the Victoria Inn.
Salcombe Rotary have borrowed Father Christmas’ sleigh from Kingsbridge and he will be giving out sweets to good children as he makes his rounds.
On Wednesday, December 21, there will be carols around the tree on Whitestrand car park from 6pm. The car park will be closed at the Salcombe Gospel Choir will be there to lead the singing, with mulled wine, hot chocolate, bakery mince pies will be available, as well as sweets for the children.
