CHRISTMAS would not be the same without an impressive display of lights in Churchstow.
Mike Langman's well-known Christmas lights display last year raised £1,900 and in the 12 years he has been putting on the display, he has raised more than £15,000 for Children's Hospice South West.
It includes all the usual Christmas related decorations – snowmen, Father Christmas and a nativity scene, donated by Dennis Saunders, of Loddiswell, who used to have his own display.
Children's Hospice South West raises money to fund three hospices for children who are living with life limiting conditions. The charity relies on the generosity and efforts of people who fundraise'.
