SCHOOL records have been smashed as Dartmouth Academy students have been pushing the boundaries in fitness and wellbeing.
During physical education lessons, a focus for students in all year groups has been developing their own personal fitness levels.
An element of this training has involved rowing where a number of students have reached national qualifying standard allowing them to compete in local and regional competitions.
A triple header encounter between Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Ivybridge saw some personal achievements, including Oliver Smith, 1st Year 10 boys; Owen Elwell, 1st joint, Year 9 boys; Mayson Elwell, 1st Year 7 boys; and Katelin Gordge, 1st Year 7 girls.
The event was the perfect warm up for the regional championships, which will take place at Marjons in March.
