Brent Island is the place to be this Easter Saturday, when all are invited to follow the clues and find those seasonal treats.

The Brent Island Easter Trail is on Saturday, April 15 from 10am to 4pm on the island, which is down Millswood Lane, behind St Petroc Church. Entry is two pounds, with the reward of a chocolate egg for every entrant.

If hunting chocolate eggs is not your thing there will be the usual opportunities to explore the natural surroundings and enjoy the island’s abundant wildlife.

Any profits from the day will go towards the work of the Brent Island Trust in caring for the three acres of meadow and woodland alongside the River Avon.
