Gymnasts in Kingsbridge have raised around £700 for Children in Need.
The Eagles Acrobatics Gym Club from Kingsbridge got together to support Children In Need by tumbling a mile.
On Friday, November 17, the 28 gymnasts and their head coach John Ryrie, tumbled a mile each. Tumbling is an acrobatic sporting discipline which combines skills of artistic gymnastics with those of trampolining, using a 25-meter-long spring track.
Ranging in ages from six- to fifteen-years-old, the gymnasts cartwheeled, flicked and flipped a mile each, dressed in tutus and plenty of glitter, raising around £700 at the first count but with more money coming in.
