Pierre Landell-Mills’ letter, Chronicle, January 27, stated that I was from Kingsbridge. Not true – yet another misleading piece of information used to muddy the waters in this most unedifying debate over the future of health and social care in Dartmouth and its environs.

Not only do I live in Kingswear, but I was born here into a family that has resided in Kingswear since my great-grandparents moved here from the Ivybridge/Plympton area in 1893.

I would hope that readers will be reassured that I am not entirely ignorant of the facts.
