VILLAGERS whose home is frequently hit by vehicles have been told to stop complaining by Devon County Council.
Sally Britton and Peter Hastings Moore have had their Churchstow cottage struck 11 times since 2010 and, after paying out thousands of pounds for repairs, have written numerous letters of complaint to the council.
But now the authority has told the residents that since installing plastic bollards it cannot do any more and will not respond to any further complaints.
Mrs Britton feels the house is at risk of being hit again after the bollards were knocked over within hours of being installed last month and is desperate for someone to help them in their plight.
