IF you are a bit bewildered by new technology, have no fear, Kingsbridge Library are running IT and Coffee sessions to help you out.
A regular request at Kingsbridge Library is for support to tame the technology we all rely on these days. Maria, Library Supervisor, said: ‘We often have people coming to us for help with phones, laptops, iPads and tablets.
‘A familiar scenario is of a grandma or grandad being presented with an iPad by grandchildren or children, who hope they will use it to keep in touch. Unfortunately they aren’t always around to help them to get to grips with this strange new device!’
The library runs fortnightly IT & Coffee sessions on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, between 2-4pm, where you will receive a warm welcome from volunteers from Rotary and Age UK. These are not structured lessons, just drop in with your problem and they will do their best to help, and its free. For more information you can ring the library on 01548 852315.
