John Yeoman, of Malborough Parish Council, writes:
Malborough must thank the Ambulance Service for its support. Last Wednesday afternoon I checked the defibrillator at the post office in the village and found it unhappily bleeping to itself and showing ‘unfit for use’.
I alerted Debbie Ede, our clerk, at 4.30pm. She contacted first responder Nigel Toms and he came to see the problem at 5pm.
He in turn contacted Justin, a technician with the Ambulance Service, and he came and replaced the faulty battery. It was all done and ready for action before 7pm.
How is that for good service?
